Refund or Exchange Policy

At akashlinaonlinestudio.com⁠, each piece is handcrafted with care and attention to detail. Since most of our products are produced in limited quantities and involve handcrafted processes, we currently do not provide returns. However, exchanges are accepted under the conditions mentioned below.

General Exchange Policy

Exchange requests must be raised within 2 business days of receiving the order.
To request an exchange, kindly contact us via Email or WhatsApp with your order details and supporting images/videos if required.
The item must be:
Unused
Unwashed
In original condition with tags intact
Products that are worn, washed, damaged, or altered after delivery will not be accepted for exchange.
Exchange is allowed only once per order.
Customized orders and custom sizes are strictly non-exchangeable.

Saree Exchange Policy

Sarees are not eligible for exchange unless there is a genuine manufacturing defect.
To claim a defective product exchange, customers must provide:
An unboxing/opening video, or
Clear pictorial evidence of the defect
Once verified by our team, we will assist with the resolution accordingly.

Size Exchange Policy – Blouses & Co-ord Sets

We strongly request customers to carefully recheck measurements before placing an order. If you have any confusion regarding sizing, our team will gladly assist you in selecting the correct size.
Until the order is shipped, size modifications can still be requested.
Most of our blouses are designed with margin allowances so they can be altered up to one size larger.
If there is still a sizing issue after delivery:
We provide a one-time complimentary size exchange.
The exchanged product must remain unused and unwashed.
Customized measurements and customized fittings are not eligible for exchange.

Size Exchange Policy – Dresses

For certain dress patterns and structured cuts, it may not be possible for us to keep sufficient alteration margins.
In such cases, we sincerely request customers to carefully verify measurements before ordering.
Ideally, the garment measurement should be 2–3 inches larger than your actual bust measurement for a comfortable fit.
If you need assistance while choosing the size, our team will always be available to help.
If there is still a sizing concern after delivery:
A one-time size exchange can be provided, subject to stock availability and product condition.

Reverse Shipping Policy

Currently, we are unable to arrange reverse pickup services across all locations in India.
Customers are requested to ship the item back to our inventory address. We will guide and assist throughout the process.
Reverse shipping reimbursement of up to ₹150 will be provided upon sharing a valid courier receipt.

Wrong or Defective Product

In the unlikely event that you receive:
A wrong product, or
A defective item,
please contact us immediately via Email or WhatsApp with proper photo/video evidence.
Please ensure that the product is not worn or washed before reporting the issue.
Once verified, we will resolve the matter at the earliest possible opportunity.

Refund Policy

We generally do not provide refunds.
However, refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances such as:
Repeated delivery failures
Multiple defective replacements
Situations where exchange is not possible from our side
In such cases:
The returned item must be unused and unwashed.
Refunds will be processed within 3 business days after the returned product is received and approved by our team.
