A beautiful tribute to Bijoya Dashami — its vermilion smiles, tearful goodbyes, and the promise of Maa’s return.

Bijaya is a red-and-white saree crafted on a pristine white cotton Mul base, featuring three hand-appliquéd red bindis and vibrant red Bengal Gamchha pleats.

Inspired by Sindoor Khela and the emotions of Bijoya, it celebrates Bengal’s colours, traditions, and memories.

A little red, a little white, and a whole lot of Bengal — Bijaya carries the spirit of Pujo beyond the festivities.

Handcrafted with love, rooted in tradition, and distinctly Akashlina. ❤️

Product Details

Bijaya features a white cotton Mul base adorned with three red bindi motifs, individually hand-appliquéd onto the saree. The pleats are crafted from red Bengal Gamchha, creating a bold, beautiful contrast against the white body.

Please note that Bijaya is a patchwork and appliqué saree, not an all-over woven Gamchha saree.

Wash Care

– Dry clean recommended for the first wash.
– Avoid soaking, bleach, harsh detergents, and vigorous rubbing.
– Handle the hand-appliquéd motifs and stitched Gamchha pleats gently.
– Dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
– Iron on low to medium heat.
– Red Gamchha may release colour during washing; handle with care.
